Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, East Riding Council, Adults Hospital Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• Applying a home first approach aiming to plan for a safe discharge the same day
• Following these cases through the D2A process is part of this role and visits across the D2A sites is essential
• Candidate is preferably aware of hospital processes and is able to manage a busy case load
• AIS knowledge is desirable but not essential. Due to COVID communication is maintained electronically so must be computer literate
• Role is mainly Monday to Friday but some flexibility can be discussed. We cover 7 days service but the team mainly cover weekend roles
• Mix of home and office working so candidate must be able and willing to attend the office as requested. Current COVID guidance is applied only attending for essential roles however this will be a requirement.
• 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 2 Month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
