Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Independent Reviewing Officer, Shropshire Council, Child Protection Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• Undertake initial assessments of Safeguarding referrals
• Sec 42 Enquiries and support move towards implementation of new safeguarding pathways and team
• Review Care Packages
• Adult Placement
• Report writing
• Home Visits
• Liaise with other professionals
• 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 6 Month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful Qualified Social Worker candidate will need to hold a Degree or equivalent must be registered with Social Work England, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
