Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Enfield Council, Adults Rough Sleeper/ Homeless Support Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• Provide intensive support to approximately 20 -25 entrenched rough sleepers with high/complex needs housed into settled accommodation through our Housing First model
• Role will involve the assessment of health, circumstances and support needs and where appropriate linking rough sleepers in with appropriate services such as primary care, relevant Social Services teams, Mental Health Services and Substance Misuse Services
• Assessment of health, circumstances and support needs of a small number of entrenched rough sleepers with high/complex needs who are bedded down in sleep sites, or housed in emergency accommodation in Enfield
• Linking these rough sleepers with appropriate services such as primary care, relevant social services teams, Mental Health Services and Substance Misuse Services
• Liaise with other professionals
• 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 2 Month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
