Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Derbyshire Council, Children's Disability Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 3 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Childrens Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 3 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children’s Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• Children with Disabilities
• Work in a person centred way that compliments systemic practice and the stronger family’s safer children agenda
• Assessment of children with identified disabilities
• Children in care and associated duties including close liaison with Health and Education colleagues
• Child Protection
• Experience of working with children across CICN, CP and CIC
• Candidates will be based at The Polygon but the case load will prominently be cases based in the north of the county therefore all candidates must have the flexibility to work between their allocated area and the main office
• 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 3 month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
