Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, AMHP, Vale of Glamorgan Council, Adult Mental Health Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• The post is for five days per week, three of those days will be as AMHP and two covering other duties of the team
• Social Circumstances reports
• Attending Mental Health Review Tribunals
• Small caseload
• There is an expectation that assessments can extend beyond normal working hours
• 36 hours per week(flexible by negotiation)
• 2 Month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
