Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Best Interest Assessor, Cheshire West Council, Adults Support Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• Expectation is for them to carry out face to face visits to care homes and other providers where deemed necessary following a through risk assessment
• Carry out Best Interest Assessments in line with the Mental Capacity Act and have completed BIA legal update training in past 12 months
• Review Care Packages
• Adult Placement
• Report writing
• Home Visits
• Liaise with other professionals
• 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 2 Month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
