Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Cheshire East Council, Children's Services Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children’s Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• Knowledge of care planning regulations
• Options for permanence and understanding of the role of corporate parents and experience of care planning essentially
• Support children's permanence following court proceedings but will involve some court work, adoption, SGO
• Supporting both children on care orders at home, fostering, adoption and residential placements
• Liaise with other professionals
• 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 3 month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
