Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, West Midlands Council, Adults Safeguarding Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• Newly created Safeguarding Team
• This is a fast paced, citywide team
• Work involves dealing with all aspects of Safeguarding work from the Concern stage
• Work is currently from home due to Covid 19 restrictions, although visits may be required, subject to risk assessments
• You will receive training on their Covid-19 risk assessment
• Have excellent organisational skills and proven ability to work autonomously
• Liaise with other professionals
• 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 2 Month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
