Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Team Manager, Hull City Council, Childrens Safeguarding Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker, Team Manager with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children’s Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• Manager has responsibility for 5 qualified social workers, a family practitioner and team coordinator
• Each team has an ASYE that the team manager would need to support also
• responsible for approximately 120 children at any one time, these children would be supported under Child in Need, Child Protection, and looked after / care proceedings
• Liaise with other professionals
• 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 3 month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
