Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Independent Reviewing Officer / Child Protection Conference Chair, Bolton Council, Children Support Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 5 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 5 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children’s Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• Please note that it is a joint role of Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) and Child Protection Conference Chair (CPCC) which the caseload would reflect
• Understanding of legislation for Children in Need; Children subject to child protection plans; Pathway plans and children Looked After
• Evidence of preparing, producing, implementing, and evaluating plans with individual Children, families, carers, and professional colleagues
• Experience of leading, chairing, recording, and facilitating meetings
• Ability to relate easily to and support children and young people to participate in their Review meetings
• Liaise with other professionals
• 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 3 month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
