Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Rochdale Council, Cared for Children / Permanence Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children’s Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• Completed the associated assessments, planning and review processes
• Needs experience of devising, co-ordaining and implementing care and pathway plans
• Must be able to demonstrate relational practice, be child-centred, have good communication and organisation skills
• Manage a case load
• Liaise with other professionals
• 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 3 month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
