Job Description

Qualified Social Worker, St Helens Council, Adult Assessment Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team

Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team

The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager

The responsibilities will include:


• Undertake all aspects of assessment and review, for adults with a range of needs and as appropriate, their carers
• Whilst under the supervision of a Team Manager / Assistant Manager or Reviewing Officer, this will involve working both individually on casework and as part of a Team
• Building and maintaining links within the Department and with other agencies, professionals and service providers to ensure that agreed outcomes are met
• Liaise with other professionals
• 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 2 Month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to CRB and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current CRB and be a car driver.

If you are not an HCPC registered Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Post Qualifying Social Work experience, you are not eligible for this role, so please do not apply!
