Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Lancashire Council, Adults Assessment Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• Care Act assessments
• Support planning
• Mental Capacity Assessments
• Court of Protection and Welfare applications
• Provide a front line duty function
• Working closely with those who access our service, local communities, providers and multi-disciplinary professionals
• The team provides a service to those living in their own home, in hospital and secure settings
• The team require increased support to progress Court of Protection reviews and new applications in particular and to undertake other duties as described
• 36 hours per week(flexible by negotiation)
• 2 Month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
