Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Oldham Council, Childrens CAT Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children’s Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• responsibility for a caseload, including cases which can be of a complex and challenging nature
• assist in the supervision and/or support of staff, including conducting formal supervision sessions and giving technical advice and guidance to staff
• continue to develop professionally, and be accountable for the delivery of, and promote, social work good practice
• Collate information from partner agencies and process information
• Input information on operating system
• Liaise with other professionals
• 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 3 month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
