Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Essex County Council, Adult Learning Disabilities Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• The team has a strong focus on supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs
• Working with providers in complex residential and supported living services
• The team comprises of social workers, community support workers and occupational therapist working across all ages
• Experience within a social care setting with evidence of challenging social and family situations
• Strong communication skills and an ability to develop a rapport and engage with diverse groups of individuals
• Developing strong relationships with partners, other agencies and the local community to achieve joint objectives and offer a supportive framework for children and vulnerable adults
• Liaise with other professionals
• 36 hours per week(flexible by negotiation)
• 2 Month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
