Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Wiltshire Council, Adults Hospital Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Mental Health Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Mental Health Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of people who suffer from mental health illnesses under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• Looking for is looking for flexible and highly motivated experienced Social Workers to support the hospital teams over winter
• As a Peripatetic Social Worker, you will work across all hospital adult social work teams to maintain flow and cover for existing staff taking A/L, cover sickness etc.
• Demonstrate a proficiency to work across all areas acute settings county wide. Be a positive role model to colleagues. You will be able to provide examples of your ability to think and work creatively and develop environments where others are encouraged and supported to explore new ways of working. In addition, to demonstrate these skills and experiences, you must be highly adaptive and able to build good working relationships quickly in order to make a successful contribution to the teams you will work in
• Adult Placement
• Report writing
• Home Visits
• Liaise with other professionals
• 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 2 Month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
