Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Barnet London Borough Council, Children & Family Services - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children’s Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• Child protection work including assessments
• Core groups
• Child in Need work
• PLO processes and undertaking written agreements and any assessments as part of that process
• Court work including writing statements and Looked after children plans from until final orders are made
• Duty system and completing visit and meetings for other members of the team
• 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 3 month Temporary Contract at least
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a Social Work Degree or equivalent must be registered with Social Work England, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
