Job Description

Qualified Social Worker, Waltham Forest Council, Adults & Older People Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team

Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team

The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager

The responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking the full legal range of social care assessments and developing person-led support plans to meet the needs and outcomes of individuals
• Responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality and legally compliant social care practice to agreed standards for the staff within the remit of the post
• Maximise the independence and wellbeing of adults and older people.
Supervision of social care assistants as required
• Adult Placement
• Report writing
• Experience in working with complex cases and Safeguarding adults cases is essential
• Liaise with other professionals
• 36 hours per week(flexible by negotiation)
• 2 Month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
