Job Description

Qualified Social Worker, Derby City Council, Adults Mental Health Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team

Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team

The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager

The responsibilities will include:

• Demonstrate strong skills in working with customers/service users in secondary mental health services
• Undertaking Caseload management
• Care Act assessments
• Reviews
• Safeguarding,
• Duty work
• Ward link work
• Hospital discharges
• Tribunal reports
• Presenting cases to Panel
• Collaborative working experience and interface with health colleagues will be an asset
• Needs to have knowledge of ICT recording systems - ideally liquid Logic
• 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 3 Month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
