Job Description

Qualified Social Worker, Isle of Wight Council, Adult Community Mental Health Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team

Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team

The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager

The responsibilities will include:

• Qualified and warranted AMHP to work flexibly between the in hours and out of hours community mental health teams and to provide the emergency Out of Hours Adult Social Care response
• AMHP / Emergency Duty Worker for Adult Social Care, must be based on the Isle of Wight and a car driver for this position
• Review Care Packages
• Adult Placement
• Report writing
• Liaise with other professionals
• 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 2 Month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
