Job Description

Qualified Advanced Social Worker, Derbyshire Council, Adults Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team

Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team

The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager

The responsibilities will include:


• looking for 11 experienced social workers who are required to take a strength based approach in order to deliver a proportionate, personalised, safe and sustainable response for local adults, their carer’s and families
• ability to assess and manage risk, work effectively under the Safeguarding Adults policy and procedures and have a working knowledge of Continuing Health Care
• posts will cover a range of roles across Derbyshire
• 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 6 Month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
